Bradley Mikkelson A.K.A. “Mike” Owner/Operator of B-Mike Contacting
Mike Started working carpentry at the age of 15 when he joined the framing crew of their family friend and neighbor. He continued working with that crew off and on for 8 years while finishing high school and a 2-year associate’s degree in HVAC at Front Range Community College. In 2013 his boss took another job and gave him his first leads. Living in Fort Collins, CO he continued working as an Independent carpentry contractor.
In late 2016 the opportunity came to buy a beautiful property right on French Creek and by May of 2017, Mike and his family were South Dakota residents. After 6 months of driving a service van around western SD, it was time to get back on his own. January 2018 he established B-Mike Contracting and left the appliance repair industry for good.
Today, Mike is the Project Manager, Estimator, Designer, and every other task that follows as a business owner. He is also a volunteer firefighter for the Fairburn VFD, and board member of the Fairburn Fire District. He is proud that his hard work and years of working alone have built the company that he runs today. It is that pride that will ensure every project B-Mike Contracting starts will be completed to the best results possible.

Jim Harper: Lead Carpenter/Crew Leader
Jim Started with B-Mike Contracting beginning of November 2020. With over 30 years of experience in residential construction/carpentry, he is an excellent crew leader. Overseeing all carpentry production, he makes sure everything is by the book. His experience, skills, and leadership are a gift to any project that he works on. Here at B-Mike contracting, we are honored to have him part of the team.
Ian Christie: Carpentry Apprentice/Laborer
Ian started working with B-Mike Contacting in March of 2020. At 21 years old, he had some experience doing handyman projects with his father, but still had much to learn about professional carpentry. His skills are improving daily and education never stops. As his education continues he finds himself constantly wanting to learn more. Making him an excellent team member with great leadership potential.
Trent Allen: Carpentry Apprentice/Laborer
Trent started working with B-Mike Contracting in November of 2019. At the young age of 18, he brought some young energy with a desire to learn. Since Trent was hired he has been learning non-stop being taught skills while working that he will be able to rely on for the rest of his life. Its a joy watching him grow and helping this young man build his life.
